Atze’s Corner

Hi! Thank you for trusting me with your awesome product. I’ve had a great time photographing and filming the bottles of wine.

FYI if on a PC the banner of this page will play your video. If on a mobile device it will display a static image.

Andy’s Brief: 30 second video and some photos. Imagery of wine into glass. Pick up the colour of the wine.

Your question: Can the video be below 20MB?

My answer: Yes. ‘Draft’ files are uploaded. They are of a lower quality (medium bit rate, instead of high bit rate).

Ideally you would host the video on Vimeo (& You Tube for SEO). I have a Vimeo Plus Account at $9 per month. That allows me to change what is & isn’t shown. EG I don’t show the video title, and I can change the colour to suit my branding (I use yellow). I’m not sure if their free basic account permits customization.

VIDEO OF WILD ROSE GRENACHE:

Fun fact. 333 photos used to create this 24 second video. The video is stop motion (all photos, no video).

The photo ratio is different to video on dslrs. Hence your video is taller (2500x1666). I’ve also done a 1920x1080 crop version to be the same ratio as the previous Shiraz video provided.

Any questions or concerns just let me know. If your not loving the music, again let me know. There are a couple of song options that would work.

The vintage has been removed from the video credit, and re-uploaded to Dropbox. I noticed you opted for song 2, so I’ll provide that one also.

LIGHT PAINTING PHOTOS:

I provided the Light Painting photos also. I attempted to show the wine colour in an energetic way. Perhaps they’ll work at a festive time of year such as New Years Eve. I’ve shown an example below how you can use the light as a banner to add text.

Light Painting was the style of photography I was keen to play with. So I understand it may not be your ideal style. However, since the photos are done, you’re welcome to have them also. When placed together they make a fun video, see below.

VIDEO HOSTING:

If you need instructions or help embedding the video (website or newsletter) let me know. I use Vimeo. Youtube is also popular. I have included ‘video cover’ photos in Dropbox. That is because if you have the option to upload a jpg photo, for the video cover, that will always be clearer and more sharp than selecting a cover from a video frame. I don’t know why, but in my experience, it is always much clearer. And even though I upload a jpg cover photo in Vimeo. I also upload a jpg cover photo in my website (because it gives me that option) and it is clearer by doing it that way. Just a tip and something to do if you’ve go that option.

MUSIC LICENSE:

All music I provide is licensed. The license type is very broad. You’re right to use it on social media, website, newsletter, etc. They even permit broadcast formats (tv, industry events, etc). If you ever get pulled up about music copyright, your covered. Take a screen shoot of the issue and note the url and send those to me to submit a Copyright Claim with my music provider. I’ve never had to do that, it’s just peace of mind knowing your covered.

My goal is to have you love the work I create for you. So if there’s something not quite right, please do not hesitate to discuss. I’m happy to chat about any questions, concerns, or ideas.

Cheers, Jeanie.
